At our Rosemont clinic, we provide comprehensive care for varicose veins and venous insufficiency. Your visit includes a detailed Doppler ultrasound of the legs to assess blood flow and guide treatment.
We provide surface sclerotherapy for smaller veins and ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy for larger veins. All treatments are performed in a safe, comfortable medical setting, with your well-being and confidence as our priority.
Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy
If the ultrasound shows that the problematic veins are of larger caliber, they will be injected with another sclerosing agent, in the form of foam, with ultrasound guidance.
Surface sclerotherapy treatment
If the ultrasound does not show any large diseased veins and there are only small superficial varicose veins to treat, we will proceed with surface sclerotherapy treatment. This involves small, very delicate and not very painful injections that inject a sclerosing agent that will close the targeted vein.
Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy
If the ultrasound shows that the problematic veins are of larger caliber, they will be injected with another sclerosing agent, in the form of foam, with ultrasound guidance.
